Two decades of work in life sciences industry

Journalist. Storyteller. Author.

Chronicling the pulse of life sciences

Rahul is an accomplished journalist and author chronicling the worlds of science, healthcare, and human transformation. His work sits at the intersection of discovery and empathy — where innovation meets the human spirit.

Over the years, Rahul has built a distinctive voice in narrative journalism, telling stories that bridge the complexity of biotechnology, pharma, and regenerative medicine with the people and passions driving them. His writing is known for depth, clarity, and a rare emotional intelligence — illuminating the science of progress and the soul behind it.

Currently, Rahul is expanding his storytelling into long-form biographical and thematic works that explore resilience, identity, and purpose. His latest project — a deeply personal narrative — traces the life and journey of Dr. Anil Koul, a scientist who rose from conflict-torn Kashmir to global prominence in biomedical research and returned home to lead India’s scientific renaissance.

Science. Strategy. Storytelling.

Rahul has been closely tracking the Indian life sciences sector for 16 years, bringing 19+ years of experience across media, market research, and marketing. A lifelong learner, he approaches each day as an opportunity to explore new ideas and perspectives.

With postgraduate qualifications in biotechnology, journalism, and management (marketing), Rahul has built a strong foundation that blends scientific insight with storytelling and strategic thinking. His work has taken him across India and internationally, including Spain, France, Belgium, Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, and Nepal.

Beyond healthcare and life sciences, Rahul is equally passionate about debates on politics and English literature. In 2020, he published his debut novel, Shreds of Frozen Destiny, marking his foray into authorship.

This book brings together ten deeply human stories that trace the many faces of the Kashmiri Pandit exodus. Each story reflects a different dimension of that collective wound — the irony of friends turning strangers, the pain of leaving behind ancestral homes, the resilience of families rebuilding their lives in exile, and the quiet hope that refuses to die.

While the backdrop remains one of conflict and betrayal, the essence of these tales lies in endurance — in how a community, uprooted yet unbroken, continues to hold on to faith, memory, and the dream of return.

Neither polemic nor lament, this collection seeks to bear witness — to remember what was lost, to confront what was done, and to preserve the voices that history too often silences.
